ZR BashingBead™ Lysis Tubes by Zymo Research are available as S6012-50 (0.1 &amp; 0.5 mm beads, 50 pack) for environmental and microbial samples, and S6014-50 (0.1 &amp; 2.0 mm beads, 50 pack) for disease vectors and tough tissues. Each 2 ml impact-resistant tube contains 0.7 ml of chemically inert, fracture-resistant beads. Made in the USA. Suited to metagenomics, microbiomics, and vector biology labs.

ZR BashingBead Lysis/Filtration Tubes

S6010 by Zymo Research is the ZR BashingBead Lysis/Filtration Tube with 0.5 mm beads, a 25-pack of 50 mL impact-resistant polypropylene tubes that combine bead-beating lysis and silica-based nucleic acid capture in a single vessel. The integrated silica filtration matrix binds 5&ndash;10 &micro;g of nucleic acid; minimum elution volume is &ge;6 &micro;l. Compatible bead beaters include the Bullet Blender (9 tubes per run), FastPrep-24 (40-second processing), and Geno/Grinder 2010 (12 tubes per run).
The 0.5 mm beads are optimized for disruption of bacteria, fungi, and yeast. For tissue homogenization, use the S6011 (2.0 mm beads). No organic denaturants or proteinases are required.

S6002-96-4 by Zymo Research is the ZR-96 BashingBead Lysis Rack with laser-etched 2D barcodes, a 96-well format lysis rack with 1.1 mL polycarbonate impact-resistant tubes pre-loaded with ultra-high-density silica beads. The rack has an ANSI/SLAS-standard footprint (128.0 &times; 85.0 &times; 57.0 mm) for compatibility with automated liquid-handling platforms and plate-format bead beaters. Triple screw-thread caps with septum closure prevent cross-contamination between wells.
Designed for high-throughput bead-beating lysis of bacteria, fungi, yeast, soil, feces, and other challenging matrices in ZymoBIOMICS 96 DNA/RNA extraction workflows.
