Tensile strength and elongation
Latex gloves are tested under ASTM D3578, which requires high elasticity and durability. They must withstand significant stretching without tearing, ensuring reliability during pipetting, dissection, and clinical procedures. AQL and medical-grade standards
Medical-grade latex gloves typically have an AQL of 2.5 or lower, meaning very low acceptable defect rates.
