Orange viewing cover

E5001-OC by Benchmark Scientific (Accuris) is the 18 × 18 cm orange PMMA viewing cover for the SmartDoc™ 2.0 gel imaging system. The orange PMMA material absorbs blue light from the SmartDoc 2.0's LED illuminator, enabling safe gel visualization and photography without UV goggles. The cover can be angled forward for direct gel access during band excision. Available as a replacement for the cover included in the E5001-SDB complete system.

Included with E5001-SDB; sold separately as a replacement or spare.

SmartDoc UV Blocking Mat

E5000-MAT by Benchmark Scientific (Accuris) is the UV Blocking Mat for the SmartDoc gel imaging enclosure, used when the SmartDoc's 19 × 19 cm base sits on a larger UV transilluminator. The mat covers the exposed transilluminator surround to block UV scatter during gel documentation.

SmartDoc band UV Blocking Filter, optimized for use with E3100 transilluminator

E5001-UVBLOCK by Accuris Instruments is a UV-blocking filter for the SmartDoc imaging enclosure, optimized for use with the Accuris E3100 myView UV transilluminator — blocking UV excitation wavelengths and passing visible gel band emission for safe, clear smartphone or camera gel photography without UV sensor damage. Fits SmartDoc E5001-SD and E5001-SDB enclosures.

E5001-535 by Accuris Instruments is a 535 nm narrow band pass filter for the SmartDoc™ 2.0 gel documentation system, designed to image green nucleic acid stains — GelGreen, SYBR Green, SYBR Safe — on a UV transilluminator. The 8 × 8 in filter (0.5 lbs) slots into the SmartDoc 2.0 enclosure, blocking UV excitation light while transmitting the 535 nm emission band for high-contrast gel documentation without a dedicated gel doc station.

E5001-590 by Accuris Instruments is a 590 nm narrow bandpass filter for the SmartDoc gel documentation enclosure, designed to block UV excitation and transmit the ~590 nm emission peak from ethidium bromide-stained gels on a UV transilluminator — enabling clear smartphone or camera gel photography without UV interference. Sold individually; requires a compatible SmartDoc enclosure (E5001-SD or E5001-SDB).
