TEV Protease by Varizymes is an engineered catalytic fragment of Tobacco Etch Virus NIa protease with an N-terminal His-tag, used to remove affinity tags from fusion proteins. It is engineered to resist autolysis and cleaves optimally at 30 °C across pH 6.0–9.0. Structural biology and protein labs can order 1,000 U or 10,000 U from MBP with CoA, SDS, and a 10X reaction buffer included.
