Thermal Conductivity Bars, 1 Each

United Scientific® Thermal Conductivity Bars by United Scientific is a classroom demonstration device with four identically sized bars of steel, brass, aluminum, and copper mounted side by side in a plastic support. Each bar carries a liquid crystal thermometer reading 35°C to 42°C, so when the bar ends sit in hot water students can watch and time heat moving up each metal. Physics and physical science teachers use it to introduce conduction and compare how well common metals carry heat.
