Spring Scale Centripetal Force Apparatus, 1 Each

The Spring Scale Centripetal Force Apparatus by United Scientific is a hand-held circular-motion demonstrator in which a rubber stopper is spun overhead on a string connected to a 5 N spring scale. Students read the centripetal force directly from the scale while changing speed and string length, which is adjustable up to 24". High school and introductory college physics teachers use it to explore the relationship between radius, velocity and force, with an included activity guide.
