The Spherometer by United Scientific is a micrometer instrument for determining the radius of curvature of spherical surfaces such as mirrors and lenses. Its micrometer screw is graduated to measure displacement as small as 0.01 mm, and it is built with two brass plates and three steel legs. A flat glass plate is included for reference readings. Physics instructors and teaching labs use it for geometric optics and measurement practicals.
