Solar Furnace, 1 Each

The United Scientific® Solar Furnace concentrates sunlight from a 30 cm mirror onto a 20 mL water container at its 16 cm focal point, bringing the water to a boil in a few minutes. The mirror angle adjusts through 180° to track the sun at any time of day. Science teachers use it to demonstrate the sun's radiative energy and solar thermal concepts in physics and energy units.
