The Resonance Apparatus by United Scientific is a water-column resonance tube for measuring the speed of sound. A vertical acrylic tube with a 99 cm working length and a printed metric scale connects to a movable reservoir that adjusts the air column. Students sound a tuning fork or tone generator (not included) at the mouth and record where resonance occurs. It is used in high school and introductory college physics labs.
