McCoy's 5A Medium (TM506) by Applied Biological Materials is a 500 ml sterile basal medium (osmolarity 270–330 mOsm/kg) containing L-glutamine, sodium bicarbonate (2.2 g/L), and phenol red — without HEPES or sodium pyruvate — for primary cultures from adrenal, bone marrow, lung, kidney, and other tissues.
