Graduated vs. Non-Graduated Graduated media bottles have approximate volume markings for guidance during media preparation without a separate measuring cylinder. Markings are typically &plusmn;5% and are not certified for precision volumetric work. Cap and Pouring Ring PP screw caps are autoclavable at 121&deg;C. Loosen caps one quarter-turn before autoclaving to allow steam pressure equalisation.
