Anti-SEK1/MKK4 (Phospho-Thr261)

Anti-SEK1/MKK4 (Phospho-Thr261) Antibody (Y011176) is a rabbit polyclonal antibody that detects endogenous SEK1 (also called MKK4, MAP2K4, JNKK1) specifically when phosphorylated at threonine 261 (Thr261) in the kinase activation loop. Thr261 phosphorylation by upstream MAP3Ks (ASK1, MEKK1, TAK1) activates MKK4, which then phosphorylates JNK and p38 MAPK in response to stress stimuli including UV radiation, osmotic stress, and inflammatory cytokines. Detected band: ~44 kDa. Validated for Western blot (WB) and IHC.
