Anti-PKCβ (Phospho-Thr642) Antibody (Y011172) is a rabbit polyclonal antibody that detects endogenous PKCβ (protein kinase C beta, PRKCB) specifically when phosphorylated at threonine 642 (Thr642) in the turn motif. PKCβ Thr642 is constitutively phosphorylated by mTORC2 as a prerequisite for PKCβ maturation and stability; Thr642 phosphorylation marks signaling-competent, mature PKCβ in resting cells. Detected band: ~80 kDa. Validated for Western blot (WB) and IHC. Available from MBP, a registered vendor for Howard Hughes Medical Institute, Vanderbilt University, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Eurofins, and many other institutes across the USA.
