Anti-IRS-1 (Phospho-Ser312) Antibody (Y011143) is a rabbit polyclonal antibody that detects endogenous IRS-1 (insulin receptor substrate 1) specifically when phosphorylated at serine 312 (Ser312 in human; Ser307 in mouse). Ser312 is phosphorylated by IKKβ, JNK, and mTORC1/S6K1 as a negative feedback mechanism that inhibits insulin and IGF-1 signaling — making pSer312 IRS-1 a molecular marker of insulin resistance. Detected band: ~160–180 kDa (anomalous migration; predicted ~131 kDa). Validated for WB and IHC. Available from MBP, a registered vendor for Howard Hughes Medical Institute, Vanderbilt University, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Eurofins, and many other institutes across the USA.
