Anti-HDAC5 (Phospho-Ser498) Antibody (Y011193) is a rabbit polyclonal antibody that detects endogenous HDAC5 protein specifically when phosphorylated at serine 498 (Ser498). HDAC5 Ser498 is phosphorylated by CaMKII (calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II) and AMPK (AMP-activated protein kinase); phosphorylation promotes 14-3-3 binding, nuclear export, and derepression of MEF2-driven gene programs — a key regulatory axis in cardiac hypertrophy and skeletal muscle gene expression.
