Anti-BAD (Phospho-Ser112)

Anti-BAD (Phospho-Ser112) Antibody (Y011067) is a rabbit polyclonal antibody that detects endogenous BAD (BCL2-associated agonist of cell death) specifically when phosphorylated at serine 112 (Ser112 in mouse BAD; equivalent to Ser75 in human BAD). This phosphorylation is driven by PKA, RSK, and Akt and causes BAD sequestration by 14-3-3 proteins, preventing BAD from binding BCL-2/BCL-XL and thereby promoting cell survival. Detected band: ~23 kDa. Validated for Western blot (WB) and IHC.
