The United Scientific® Micrometer by United Scientific is an introductory-level metric micrometer graduated to read up to 25 mm in 0.01 mm divisions. It comes in a plastic storage case for protection between uses. Physics teachers and students use it to measure wire diameters, sheet thickness and small parts where a ruler or vernier caliper cannot resolve fine enough differences.
