United Scientific® Electric Calorimeter by United Scientific is a classroom calorimeter that works either as an electric calorimeter, with a 2.5 to 3 Ω heating coil run from 6 VDC at up to 2 A, or as a class standard calorimeter. The inner can holds 175 mL and has a heat capacity of approximately 25 J/°C. Physics teachers use it for experiments on heat and energy interchange, specific heat, and latent heat.
