Earthquake Shake Table, 1 Each

The Earthquake Shake Table by United Scientific is a spring-mounted 16" x 16" vibration platform that lets students test how their tower designs hold up to earthquake-like shaking. Two caged motors run individually or together from a 1–5 V DC supply, adjustable mountings hold model bases up to 12" per side, and two C clamps secure it to the bench. Engineering, earth science and physics teachers use it for design challenges.
