Duratherm S is a silicone-based heat transfer fluid for high-oxidation applications and fully exposed systems such as open baths. It is virtually impervious to oxidation below 400°F, which is also its maximum use temperature in open baths; its product rating is 600°F (316°C). Supplied in 5-gallon pails, 55-gallon drums and 275-gallon totes.
