The United Scientific® Digital Infrared thermometer by United Scientific is a handheld non-contact thermometer that reads -50°C to 500°C (-58°F to 932°F) at 0.1° resolution. It has a 12:1 distance-to-spot ratio, fixed 0.95 emissivity, a backlit LCD and a class 2 aiming laser. Labs, workshops and classrooms use it to read hot, moving or hard-to-reach surfaces without contact.
