Current Balance, 1 Each

The Current Balance by United Scientific demonstrates and measures the small force on a current-carrying conductor in a magnetic field. One half sits inside a solenoid while the other carries an adjustable counterweight and light masses; when current flows the balance deflects, and adding masses until it rebalances gives the force. The 240 mm balance arm is designed for use with United Scientific’s Air Core Solenoid in physics labs.
