The Ballistics Car by United Scientific is a push cart with a spring-loaded barrel that ejects a steel ball while the car is moving. Because the ball keeps the car's forward motion, it falls back into the barrel, demonstrating the independence of horizontal and vertical motion. The barrel offers two flight heights, and a steel ball, release pin, cord and activity guide are included for projectile motion lessons.
