Alnico U-Shaped Magnet, 3" Long, 1 Each

The Alnico U-Shaped Magnet, 3" by United Scientific is a 3" tall red horseshoe magnet with a dot marking the north pole and a keeper for storage. Its size suits teacher demonstrations of concentrated fields, iron-filing patterns, lifting tests, and the force on a current-carrying wire. Physics and general science classrooms use it as a durable front-of-class reference magnet.
