Advanced Thermostat Kit, 1 Each

The Advanced Thermostat Kit by United Scientific is a classroom apparatus for energy transfer lessons. Students use a bimetallic bar switch, five bulb sockets, a multimeter, and both 6V incandescent and LED bulbs to explore parallel circuits and current, see how thermostats and circuit breakers work, and compare bulb efficiency. An activity guide is included; a 6V DC power supply and stopwatch are needed. Suited to middle and high school physical science.
