The United Scientific® A-Base And Rod, Cast Iron by United Scientific is an A-shaped cast iron support base with a black enamel finish and a removable zinc-plated steel rod, 24" long and 1/2" in diameter. The 8" legs open 5" to 7.5", leaving room to place burners or flasks right below the rod. It serves titration, heating and ring-stand setups in teaching and research labs.
